If you are like most people, then you are health conscious and looking for ways to improve and or maintain your overall health. You may decide to stay healthy by mainly exercising while someone else may want to eat healthy and others will do a combination of the two. If you are more into exercising than eating healthy, you will be constantly on the lookout for tips on how to burn fat. Here are some tried and true tips.
• Weight training – this spikes your metabolism that in turn causes calories to be burned up and of course fat will be the first to go.
• Do your weight training just before your aerobic exercise.
• To burn more you have to work more. Do not fall for those “it’s so easy” scams. You have to expend more than you consume in order to burn fat so unless you feel worked up, you haven’t burned any fat.
• You need energy to exercise so do not do so on an empty stomach as long as you eat more than ½ hour before you exercise.
• You have to be consistent in your exercise routines. If you are not you will not see results over time and you will feel as if it was all for nothing.
• Control your blood sugar levels.
• Do not over exert yourself during exercise, we all have limits and pushing them too much will only lead to wear and tear, too much of which is definitely detrimental.
• Eat a well-balanced breakfast, this will jumpstart your metabolism enabling you to burn more calories.
• Ensure you are consuming the right amount of protein for your body type, gender and age. Protein is necessary for the building and maintenance of muscle, and building muscle equals bringing fat.
• Reel in your cardio exercises. Too much cardio is counterproductive as it decreases muscle mass.
• Beef up your water intake. The liver is responsible for converting fat that is stored into energy and since the liver helps the kidneys to do their work so by drinking more water your kidneys will be more efficient and your liver will be able to concentrate on converting fat to energy.
There are many tips for fat burning. With any health regime that you take on you should do so under the direction of a professional. This will ensure that you will do yourself more well than harm and make you feel great.
